Calling all ladies who managed to watch the Royal Wedding last week and were really wowed by the dresses featured on the long velvet red catwalk (AKA chapel aisle), this blog is a must for you.
I have to say for all the years that the press have been following Kate and her fashion choices she has really made a 180 on her wardrobe. Kate, who has previously been accused of dressing too old for her age, wowed millions of viewers as she stepped out of the wedding car last week before she made her long walk down the aisle. Her dress was designed by Sarah Burton and it really made her look every bit the princess she is now. Her sister Pippa also looked stunning next to her and although many say she stole the show I don’t entirely agree. The whole affair got me thinking about the day we were all told of the wedding plans and her engagement dress, I knew from the elegant cream dress by ‘Reiss’ that we would have much to look forward to with the wedding dress. So I’ve decided to show women our version of Kate’s engagement dress and to reiterate that you don’t have to spend thousands on designer wear to look like royalty.

The couple look stunning together here and I really think that if Kate has taught us anything about fashion is that less really is more and you don’t have to go low cut or short and sweet to turn heads. Cropped sleeves, a nice length to the skirt and a medium neckline, with a sneaky front slit to keep things feeling slightly younger is the elegant way forward. At Neola.ie we have brought you our version by Mimifroufrou for only €99 and I’ll say it, what a bargain!

Our version is already much loved by all who try it on. It has sheer cropped sleeves with ruched shoulders, a wrap skirt and a medium neckline. It carries all the same shape and elegance as Kate’s dress and has a little extra va va voom with the sheer ruched sleeves and gold button detail. This is a timeless piece of fashion and you can wear it to so many events, you can add or subtract bright coloured tights to change it up a bit and really get the wear out of it. It looks its best with a bare leg and the cream and gold Melissa shoes by Vivienne Westwood as seen above and a gold clutch bag. There you have it ladies, dress like a Princess thanks to Neola.ie!
